batavia is a colour collection of photos i took during a 4 weeks stay in 2024 in jakarta.

jakarta is a beast of a city that feels like 5 big cities in one. this huge amazonas (urban) jungle feels overwhelming at first with its smells, busy streets and seemingly chaotic nature.

however, it was visually one of the most interesting cities and therefore most rewarding cities i have been for taking photos.

i have never had so much fun on the street phographing, thanks to the incredible friendly mentality.
